Thanks for your question. I don’t believe the E Cigarette should affect your insurance policies based on the fact that their definition of whether you are a smoker refers to whether you smoke tobacco cigarettes. E cigarettes do not fall under this category and this is another reason why they are legal to smoke indoors, despite a smoking ban being placed on the traditional tobacco cigarettes.
However, I would still clarify with your insurer nonetheless, to avoid any confusion.

As you can tell from my name they’re really worked for me. I have something I can hold onto and puff on like a normal cigarette, yet I’m able to get my nicotine hit without any of the horrible stuff in normal cigs.

i smoked my ecigarette in hospital and my surgen objected at first but when i explained what it was and discribed it ,it was then ok and i used it from then on.
i smoked it for 2 weeks after that and it was ok .

Teens are passionate, but can be “dumb” at times due to lack of knowledge. This is ridicules.

There is always a matter of someones opinion, which is the case here. Just following the crowd per say and do not have any real facts to go on.

Ecigs are not marketed towards teens, tobacco is though. That has been proven but no one does anything about it…

What’s more is I keep reading where electronic cigarettes are being classes int he same category as tobacco (due to the nicotine) which is just ludicrous.

This is, without a doubt, the STUPIDEST argument I’ve ever heard. This is *NOT* smoking. I challenge everyone out there on the internet to find *ONE* company marketing these things to underage kids.

The proposal is to ban unlicensed nicotine products which are currently regulated by the General Products Safety Regulations, the Poisons Act, CHIP regulations for packaging and CE certification. All nicotine products will have to be either tobacco or licensed medicines.
